From his childhood in Freehold, to some of his earliest gigs right here on the Monmouth campus, to international superstardom, Bruce Springsteen has had quite the journey.
Using 6 display cases in the Guggenheim Memorial Library, Monmouth University’s Fall 2018 Museums and Archives Management Basics class has prepared an exhibit exploring the life and times of “The Boss.” It will be installed in the Monmouth University Library from December 4, 2018 – an as yet undetermined date.
Most of the materials displayed are on loan from The Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music at Monmouth University.

Student Graciela St. Onge created the artwork for the exhibit, incorporating veteran photographer Frank Stefanko's famed image from the cover of Springsteen's "Darkness on the Edge of Town" album.
