Best Bets for Social Work Research Methods

Start with the following Monmouth University subscription databases to find journal or newspaper articles on social work topics.

Develop your research thesis with a problem and a group to be studied, then identify keywords for your search (e.g. drug abuse and adolescent). You can also narrow down the search by searching for qualitative or quantitative studies, or by treatment. Multiple Ebsco databases can be searched simultaneously by choosing databases next to the search box (Academic Search Complete, PsycINFO, PsycARTICLES).
