    Inter Library Loans

Can't find the book you need for your research project?

Occasionally, your research may require books or articles that are not available at the MU Library. When this happens, we may be able to borrow the materials for you from another library through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Requests generally take one to two weeks to be filled.

Please complete ILL forms with complete citation information to request an ILL.

VALE Reciprocal Agreement - New Jersey Academic Libraries

As of January 2002, the New Jersey college and university libraries in the VALE consortium (54 libraries) agreed to extend reciprocal borrowing privileges to their respective full-time faculty and staff.

As of June 16, 2004, graduate students may also participate in the program.

Effective September, 2008, eighteen VALE Libraries agreed to expand their participation and extend reciprocal borrowing privileges to each other's undergraduate students.

In order to advantage of using and borrowing materials from participating libraries, active MU faculty and students must complete an application form at the Library's circulation desk prior to visiting participating libraries. Loan periods are for 3 weeks and borrowers are responsible for returning materials and costs of damaged/lost books.
