CO 503: Foundations in Communication: Books

Search Tips

Communication books are not found in any one library classification, but will be found throughout the collection.  Begin by searching your topic as a "Keyword" search such as "women and advertising", "intercultural communication", or "organizational communication".  Search the catalog record for appropriate titles to identify subject headings.  When subject heading is known, search the "Subject Heading" index.  Examples of Library of Congress Subject Headings are: interpersonal communication; mass media; communication in organizations.
