Databases (see right) lead you to peer-reviewed journals. The small sample of journals (see right, below) contain schoarly articles published in peer-review journals. Many more are available to you as a Monmouth University student.
These articles are reviewed by experts and are rigourously vetted before publication.
Non-peer reviewed journals and their articles, such as the ones found on magazine racks of large booksellers or publised on Google, are not peer-reviewed.
Access to peer-review materials is possible only through your academic affiliation as a student or faculty member.
If you're just begining to explore ancient Egypt, and have no expereince with literary research, consider using
JSTOR and ARTSTOR.
