What is Noodle Tools?

Noodle Tools is a cloud based citation manager that allows you to create, save, export, and share your citations and notecards easily.  Monmouth University students and faculty have free access to an account. Register through the library's subscription to create an individual account. There is no cost when you use the library's subscription.

Registering for an Account

1. Go to https://my.noodletools.com/logon/signin

2. You should be authenticated if you are on-campus and see the message below.

Note: You do not need to be on campus to use your Noodle Tools, but you may be asked to create or revalidate your account on campus.

Noodle Tools Update

UPDATE: NoodleTools made updates (July 2024) to their security by requiring an email login. If you previously registered for a NoodleTools account using a login you created, you will now be directed to select your email address and verify your email address. Please see images below for more information.

How to Revalidate Your Account

MU uses IP authentication, so all users should first login to their school account and then NoodleTools will automatically re-authenticate their accounts. Note: Users will need to log in once from on campus to automatically revalidate their user account for the school year.
