Women’s History Month, celebrated each March in the United States, honors the vital contributions of women throughout history and in today’s society. Explore the library’s resources and collection to learn more and discover inspiring stories, research, and voices.

It wasn't until the passage of the 1965 Voting Rights Act that all African Americans were granted the full right to vote, but the fight began in the 1800s alongside the women's suffrage movement.
