Research Process

Guide to the research process.

Writing your Research Paper

Now that you have selected the information you wish to incorporate into your paper, you need to organize the materials and synthesize them into a well argued paper. If you find that there are gaps in your research, you may need to gather additional information.

Questions to Consider: Writing

  • What is my main point?
  • Who is my audience?
  • How might I best organize my information and ideas?
  • How do I know when my research is finished?
  • Am I following the required citation style?
