The Collaborative, through the NJ Department of Education's Expanding Access to Climate Change Education grant, provides professional development to teachers related to climate change content, interdisciplinary planning, school sustainability initiatives, and planning experiential learning opportunities for students. Our mission is to prepare NJ teachers to deliver effective climate change education in all subject areas and grade levels. Our state is already facing consequences of climate change impacts, and our schools need to effectively prepare our students for the problems they will face in adulthood.
